Our Armed Forces cannot defend Britain on empty promises and delayed plans. Keir Starmer’s Defence Ministers resigned as his plan falls short. Their warnings are extremely serious. I’ve written to the PM offering the support of my MPs to vote to cut welfare to fund defence.

Class! Well done @bostonpolice
Community policing looks a bit different when the @FIFAWorldCup is in town! Our officers celebrated alongside fans, both international and local, during Day 1 of @FWC26Boston Fan Fest on City Hall Plaza!

Controversial opinion from a ref for 40 years. New law interpretations worked well in the first game in this World Cup. Bar hydration and VAR, very little time added on. And the 3 red cards were 3 red cards. Ref Wilton Sampaio well & “Ref-cam” is superb.

Wishing @FIFAWorldCup and the American and Mexican hosts of it the best of tournaments! I’m really looking forward to the highs and lows of being an England fan in the coming weeks.

In their own words… This Labour Government has “no plan for growth” according to @wesstreeting Is packed with Labour MPs who all want to “tax more to pay more benefits” says @patmcfaddenmp & now we know is “unwilling to fund our armed forces” according to @JohnHealey_MP

Conventional wisdom says that leaving the European Union has harmed the British economy. Listen to almost any Brexit debate – over the airwaves or on the professional conference circuit – and it’s invariably taken for granted being outside the EU has done serious economic damage. Now we're in June, and as the 23rd approaches – the ten-year anniversary of that hotly-contested, era-defining referendum – this message will be rammed home again and again. But it simply isn’t true. This is, of course, utter bo&&ox. Properly coming a close second in the competition for stupid ideas behind his essay in reply to Tony Blair.

They are no longer the Labour Party, they are the Welfare Party. It doesn’t matter who is in charge of these people, the party for Benefits Street will tax us all into poverty to pay for more welfare. Pat McFadden has said in private what he and the Prime Minister deny in public. As I’ve said repeatedly, Labour MPs don’t understand where money comes from. They think our taxes are their money to spend, rather than the result of the hard work of the people in our country who deserve so much better. The Conservative party is the only party holding Labour to account, as Reform, Lib Dems the SNP and others join Labour in demanding the state pay more and more benefits.
Labour's Welfare Secretary admitted to Peter Mandelson what he won’t tell you. Labour raised your taxes to pay for more benefits.
