Because Twitter keeps on semi-blocking me and I can't get in touch with them, I am going to change my Twitter account to @marcvanderchijs. I will start following the same people I follow here (may take some time to do that). Feel free to follow me, the account will be public.
Rewriting books (and therefore history) is dangerous and should not be normalized. This may seem like a small thing to many people, but if you don't speak out against it it will grow out of control. theguardian.com/books/2023/f…
I watched All Quiet on the Western Front this week. When I see this video showing trench warfare in the Ukraine Russia war I realize not much has changed in 100 years. Well, maybe the trenches in WWI were nicer.

Despite Bitcoin’s price correction over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin's dominance is still up. This means it’s purely technical and not because investors are taking profit and moving into altcoins.
Bitcoin up $800 over the past hour. It’s exactly the same as December 2017. Only difference is much stronger fundamentals and not much FOMO (yet). Most people have no idea how fast BTC is going up.
Looking at the order books of some of the exchanges. There is not much supply between here and $20,000. So with increasing demand you’ll need much higher prices in order to get people to sell. I am extremely bullish.
1/ Over the years I've heard many people lament that they didn't buy bitcoins earlier. "If only I had bought in 201X, I would be rich now!" Don't fret; for most people if they had bought in March 201X for $Y, they would have sold in April 201X for $Y 20% gain.
