I was called a 4 eyed cunt today - because someone parked across a toucan crossing in Costco carpark. Blocking cars trying to exit and people trying to cross.
I beeped to alert them that they were causing trouble.
Was then give a barrage of abuse for doing so - people are nice!

Posting this here as it’s a safe space for me.
V stressful few weeks at work. Punctuated by my 2 days hol this week being ruined by team and various issues.
I’ve applied for 2 jobs and also have a plan for what I’ll tell my boss are my boundaries when I’m back in on Monday

Thanks in part to ChatGPT for explaining to me how to set the boundaries- ‘I have x team available and therefore can deliver y service. If you want a service I need x to be available to me’ sort of thing.
Also my days off are my days off and I won’t be dealing with work

One of my team died in an accident on his way to work yesterday morning. I feel like I’ve adulted way too hard the last few days. I still have more adulting to do this week. I have the privilege of getting older but it still sucks

17 turns 18 tomorrow, a coming of age if you will. It’s hard for me to believe my eldest will be an adult. Through it all I have raised her to adulthood and she’s turning out to be a pretty decent human being despite me!
I don’t want her to see this yet so I’m posting it here

Big downfall of having g sky stream is broadband outages. Awesome 🙌 if you’re on Vodafone and your sky isn’t running but you have mobile data you can hotspot your phone. Doing it for my son atm. Hopefully the outage won’t last too long and I don’t run out of data 🤯 #vodafone
