A little sneak-peek of our #AugmentedReality virtual dog, will use to teach #vetstudents to recognise #lameness. So excited to get it to this stage, been a long time coming! #veted
Had a fab time at #VetEd2025 in @BristolUni, was on a panel talking AI in #VetEd, packed lecture theatre and loooooads of great questions!
Can't see many pics or tweets from it sadly... suspect twitter not the place for this now maybe? 😢
So thrilled to see this get off the ground - please welcome Lumin!
What do you think of our future vision to help reduce admin burden for teachers and free up their time for more valuable activities?
Proud to unveil what we’ve been building behind the scenes. Introducing Lumin— the first AI-native infrastructure for education, built with teachers, ministries & researchers worldwide. 👉 Join our waitlist: keath.ai
So proud for @UniOfSurrey to be shortlisted for this award; met with our judge today and had the opportunity to talk through some of the amazing work that has been going on here - plenty to say!
Fingers crossed that this comes home… 🤞🏻
Some sad news - @VetEd2024, I will not be getting to know you. First #VetEd I'll be missing, the on-call odds have not been in my favour this time. Also, random question, anyone remember/know how many Short Comms there were at @VetEd2018?
Super-proud of my @SurreyIoE colleague @anesa for scooping the PGR Supervisor of the Year award, and colleagues Ben and Katalin for being part of the winning team in the Collaborative Teaching Award at the VC’s awards @UniOfSurrey#ProudToBeSurrey
Doing some intensive PT (potty training) in time off, reflecting on gamification for toddlers and the difference between competence (using potty) and capability (using a travel potty in different location with distractions). Competence does NOT equate to capability… yet.
Interesting talks at #VetEd2023 in session A2; CPD participants and students in UG programmes evaluate their teaching, but enjoyment does NOT correlate with behaviour change (CPD) or learning (UG). Nod towards growth and development being uncomfortable?
Insightful plenary at #VetEd2023 around competency vs capability… a competence is the skill and knowledge to do something in a set environment, whereas capability is being able to use these competences in unfamiliar tasks and environments. 1/2
Don't be shy, submit an application. So many people and groups could be in the running for this. It's a celebration of great work and I know loads of people are doing great work. (plus the process is nice and friendly) :)
Thanks @ashroots and Helen for introducing us to #WireframeWednesdays at #THEdigitalUK; can see this as a great way to bring together stakeholders when creating and communicating a strategy
