Does anyone know how many of Australia’s starters from 2022 are playing right now? Gotta say, these guys move as a unit. Aggressive as fuck. Going to be tough on Friday for the USMNT. Will be interesting to see if they play for the draw and play park and counter. Or if they go for the 3 points. Top 8 third place makes it interesting for knockout rounds.

The USMNT looked great opening match. But go back and look at the Senegal and Germany warm up matches. When we got pressed by a top 15 side, we clearly had trouble building out of the back. And for those who want to share the screenshot of Paraguay’s qualification record. I’m not taking anything away from that. Beating the likes of Brazil, Uruguay and world champions Argentina deserves all the credit. But they did not press the USMNT up the pitch. Which is a testament to the respect our program has gained. I’m optimistic and would view the quarter finals as success, but I believe we can reach the semi’s if we have favorable draws and stay healthy. One match at a time.

Had a World Cup moment with my girl yesterday. She booked a movie for us on Friday at 4:15 PM. After I did the math, I said… “No puedo… Estados Unidos contra Paraguay.” It has begun.

I did the math and on average every article of clothing I own is 4.5 years old, head to toe. Minus socks and drawers. I genuinely think it’s a hack to not think about what to wear. But I also need some new clothes.
