So Anthropic is experimenting with pulling Claude Code from Pro subs (not to mention the recent observations about model performance drop-off), meanwhile Codex is over here handing out free rate limit resets on random weekdays (loving it). This may be a tipping point.

I don't know what they are doing over there, but Codex will continue to be available both in the FREE and PLUS ($20) plans. We have the compute and efficient models to support it. For important changes, we will engage with the community well ahead of making them.
Transparency and trust are two principles we will not break, even if it means momentarily earning less. A reminder that you vote with your subscription for the values you want to see in this world.

I've just watched a bunch of Buttigieg clips from this 3 hr (!) podcast and he nails all of them in a way that is persuasive and builds consensus rather than simply correcting facts. Incredibly deft.

Pete Buttigieg going on the Flagrant podcast is a perfect example of what Democrats need to be doing right now. He flawlessly explained the importance of government research and funding in 2 minutes to a crowd that normally wouldn’t hear this stuff.
