Until this year, Sacramento had never (since at least the mid-1800s) experienced less than an inch of rain cumulatively between January and mid-March. This year, the city has shattered that record--with only 0.05 inches for the calendar year to date. #CAwx #CAwater
Downtown Sacramento has recorded just 0.05" of rain this year, by far the lowest total on record to date (records since 1857). Normal cumulative precip by now is 8.57"! The city should FINALLY see some rain tomorrow, but just around 0.25" is expected.

My wife was out when this happened, sounds like someone hit a poll near Folsom and 58th.
