Fact: one of the most diverse places in Washington, DC is your local public tennis court.
It’s interesting that tennis has a reputation as a “country club” sport. Of the 84 Grand Slam singles titles won by American women since 1956, Black women account for half of them (42).

#rstats #gis friends: has anybody been able to get Mapbox Tilesets created w tippecanoe to load as a layer with @kyle_e_walker's {mapgl}? I can't get add_vector_layer to work. I've noticed the vignette in {mapboxapi} isn't pulling in layers as well (walker-data.com/mapboxapi/ar…)

BREAKING: William & Mary is leaving NCLL DII (Tidewater) to join MCLA DII (ALC). They won the Tidewater Conference Championship the past 2 years. They will be the 10th team in ALC DII and 4th in VA. They restarted as a team in Fall ‘21 and were NCAA DI from ‘68-‘86
