Backpack is a self custody wallet — great news! Backpack is designed as a non-custodial wallet meaning YOU hold your private keys and own your assets. Backpack does not hold your funds in custody like a centralized exchange would
Will it be possible to withdraw this SpaceX token to a wallet of our choice or to a Ledger hardware wallet? Or will Backpack keep everything in custody privately?
Identify the specific migration — there have been several token migrations associated with the Binance ecosystem. First confirm which specific token you are migrating and which chain it is on so you are looking in the right place
Your KAS in Tangem is safe — the Toccata fork is a network upgrade, not a chain split. This means it is a scheduled protocol improvement to the Kaspa network and does NOT create a new competing chain or duplicate token that could affect your holdings
Tangem DOES support staking — Tangem wallet has been actively rolling out built in staking features directly within the app for several assets. Check your Tangem app for a “Earn” or “Staking” section — it may already be available for your assets
Check if the swap actually failed — if the transaction shows as failed on chain your funds should have been automatically returned to your wallet. Check your AVLAT balance in your Binance wallet — they may already be back without the UI updating correctly. DM me or follow back
Use a Chromium based browser — Ledger hardware wallet connections require Google Chrome or Brave browser. Firefox and Safari do NOT support Ledger WebUSB/WebHID connections so switch browsers first if you haven’t already
Update your device firmware — once Ledger Live is open connect your Ledger device and follow the prompts to update the firmware. This is important as outdated firmware can cause connection issues after long periods of inactivity
Tokens may need to be manually added — even if the migration was successful your new tokens may not show automatically in your wallet. You need to manually import the new token contract address into your wallet.
In-App Guide — open your D’CENT app, tap the menu and look for the Help or Tutorial section which has built in English guides for common connection tasks. You can send a DM and i’ll send you a step-by-step video tutorial in English on how to connect your D’CENT wallet.
Switch to Base network — if your wallet defaults to Ethereum mainnet, manually switch to Base chain in your wallet settings. The burn portal will only detect your NFT if you’re on the correct network
Hyperliquid does NOT support native BTC deposits — Hyperliquid is built on its own L1 chain and primarily operates with USDC as the main deposit asset. Sending native BTC directly from Ledger to Hyperliquid could result in permanent loss of funds
Connect via Ledger Live — open Ledger Live, navigate to the “Earn” section and look for Luganodes as a validator option for your chosen asset. Select them and follow the on screen prompts
Ledger IS supported on Lobstr — Lobstr has native Ledger hardware wallet integration. You can connect your Ledger device directly to your Lobstr account to manage your XLM and other Stellar assets securely.
Is it possible to manage my Ledger wallet assets/XLM account on Lobstr? It would be nice for people who use Ledger/Trezor, or by adding it to our existing Lobstr accounts.
More vault choice. More wallet integrations. Same Flare Smart Accounts rails.
First round was @ClearstarLabs's vault on @upshift_fi via @XamanWallet.
Now @monarq_mgmt's vault via @DCENTWALLETS in the XRP Alliance enters the chat.
The FSA section on Dune shows how the pieces connect.
