Just finished Spider-Noir and it delivered on everything I wanted this series to be. The maturity of an older & grizzled Spidey, mixed with the dynamic performance of Nicolas Cage, topped off dazzling visuals & an engaging story. Sony struck gold, and I want to see even more! 🕷️

Check out this treasure of a film by the talented, creative, and sweet Ambriz Brothers… both because it’s delightful and also because when original voices succeed, we get more cool and interesting stuff to watch, so we all win.
First trailer for ‘I AM FRANKELDA’, the first-ever stop-motion film made in Mexico. The film follows a writer who is taken to another realm to help write nightmares to keep monsters alive. Releasing June 12 on Netflix.

All 8 episodes of SPIDER-NOIR are now on Prime Video. It’s bold, beautifully shot, somehow both fun and moody, with an insanely great cast anchored by an all-time weird and wonderful performance by Nicolas Cage. It’s unlike everything else on TV. You’ll dig it. Check it out!

As a lifelong SPIDER-MAN fan, I was super-excited to moderate the PRODUCERS GUILD Q&A for “SPIDER-NOIR” with EP/Showrunner OREN UZIEL and Executive Producers PHIL LORD & CHRIS MILLER! “SPIDER-NOIR” drops on @PrimeVideo in color and B&W on 5/27 & it’s — dare I say it? — AMAZING!

Double feature this weekend. Two films about memory, friendship, and sacrifice. Two films that will make you laugh and cry. Two films with exquisite work by talented VFX artists. Two films about humanity expressed through the relationship between humans and non-humans.

Fun fact: I took this. It’s actually a Photoshop composite of two different pics I took on my phone during production. We shot the earth sequences at the end of production so in this scene Ryan was holding up a blank Polaroid, imagining it was a pic of him alone and VFX later comped my pic in. (My pics below) 1/
I wonder who took this.. eva, or carl

I separated Ryan and Photoshopped him onto a more empty frame so he’d be alone. I took this pic during a preshoot walkthrough. 3/

With the comped pic, I then sent a clean and a “Polaroid-ized” version (where I tweaked the hue, contrast, and blur to feel more like a Polaroid) to our amazing VFX team and they integrated it into the shots. 4/
