Not good. As of 5 pm Wednesday - our air quality in Austin has fallen from Unhealthy for SOME to Unhealthy for ALL. If you have sensitivities to air pollution, best to stay inside. #airquality tceq.texas.gov/airquality/mo…

Yeah, I lived on Ave G and 55th St. from 1984 to 1987. Rented a room with separate bath and its own entrance for $150/mo. Not today. I have the same set up in Round Rock today for $1500/mo.

There’s a flaw in the argument that increasing density per lot will allow more ‘middle’ housing and bring down home prices. Here in the North Loop neighborhood, where previously stood three, 1950’s vintage, 1-story cottages, there are now 6 residences. 🧵1/3 #Austin #housing

Got in my 5 mile run…I think that breeze helped, because I’m not miserable, though I am sweating profusely! Have a hunch I’m finally getting acclimated to this crazy heat! Hope y’all are staying safe & hydrating like nobody’s business! 90° with a heat index of 101° already,
