I had to go to A&E a few years back, I was throwing up, I couldnāt walk. Iāve had a chronic illness since I was 15 and no matter how many times I asked them to speak to my doctor or look at my medical history they kept insisting it was period related. They kept me there for
Medical misogyny is so real. Yesterday my sister noticed her period pain was more intense than usual. So we went to the hospital. In the emergency room, there was a man with slight abdominal pain who was given Percoset and immediately sent his test to the laboratory, and when the doctor came to check on my sister, he said, āItās just your normal period pain & symptomsā then gave her Ibuprofen and sent us homeā¦. Today her symptoms got worse, and we went again, and guess what, it was an ovarian cyst!...they conducted an ultrasound on my request! .....a man with abdominal pain is more serious to them apparently and A womanās pain is normalized like women are supposed to suffer!

didnāt wear my glasses today at the work Christmas party and donāt have contacts and I realised just how awful my eyesight is being without them for a few hours so I put them on when I got home and they broke 5 mins later this is not ideal lads
