What are Recovery Scams and What to look out for
In the world of cryptocurrencies, scams promising recovery preying further on already-defrauded victims are rampant. Sadly, it has happened more than once that a client came to us only after having fallen victim to a second scam;
- Pretend to be able to recover funds on their own without cooperation with third parties like law enforcement and VASPs
- Claim to already have recovered your money and ask for payment to disburse it to you
- Are unwilling to get on a video call to discuss your concerns

- Purport to be able to be able to steal funds back from the perpetrator by "hacking" him
We want to share this with some of our own tips on how to identify fake firms promising to recovery crypto and what sets CipherBlade apart as a legitimate solution. Be on the lookout for the tell-tale signs of recovery scams.
