The biorefinery will transfrom organic urban solid waste into high value added products. It will treat over 300 million tonnes of waste generated by over 1 million people. In the process, it will create major sustainable, social and economic benefits for the region.

♻️Zaragoza inaugura hoy su primera biorrefinería propiedad del Ayuntamiento. Se trata de una instalación pionera en Europa, gestionada por @urbaser_, que se enmarca en el proyecto @circbiocarbon.
Integrada en las instalaciones del CTRUZ, transformará los residuos orgánicos de la ciudad y los lodos de las depuradoras en productos aplicables a diversos campos industriales, como biopolímeros, biofertilizantes o grafeno.
