I had a conversation today about the difference between "kindness" & "niceness" in leadership so I decided to post about it. The article & graphic explain why, as leaders, we should choose kindness over niceness. Kindness is about caring enough to push people toward greatness, even when it’s uncomfortable. It’s a harder path but better in the long run:

Imagine if Omicron isn't that bad and all we end up achieving by implementing mitigations is reducing cases, taking pressure of hospitals, reducing long covid, protecting unvaccinated kids, buying time for people to be boosted and reducing the number of people dying from Covid.
People in all enclosed spaces should wear masks. Including students and staff at universities. Why take the risk of transmission of covid from someone asymptomatic in our classrooms? #WearAMask
