Caldwell Construction, the ownership vehicle of Andy and Gemma Brown closely associated with Gordon Elliott's powerhouse stable, will offload all of their horses at a Tattersalls dispersal sale on February 6 in a shock move that could see them exit the racing game indefinitely
How much - or how little - does the general public know about racing? 🤔
@claimsfive recalls an episode of Pointless where contestants were asked to name a Welsh, Scottish or Irish Grand National winner 👇
After over 2 weeks and the full weight of racing and the racing media only 84,000 signatures. This has backfired, clearly not an important issue for the uninformed masses and therefore the politicians.

The Euros are like "we named him Auguste Rodin because he's out of Rhododendron and the name fits phonetically while also paying homage to an acclaimed sculptor"
And we're over here like "IT'S BECAUSE HE DOESN'T HAVE ANY TESTICLES!"
#7 NOBALS ($26.00) was all heart, rallying up the inside rail to win the GI #BreedersCup Turf Sprint!
The gelding was ridden by Gerardo Corrales for trainer Larry Rivelli and Patricia's Hope LLC.
Sgt Frank Ellis Bunn's pocket book has recently been returned to us from loan. Seconded from N (@MPSIslington) Division for the 1913 Epsom Derby, he describes what happened when suffragette Emily Wilding Davison stepped out in front of the king's horse. #Museum30#Document
ALT Cover of the pocket book in cream, with a crown and the printed and handwritten inscription 'M.P. "N" Div No. 4 N.R. P.S. Bunn". This shows he held the collar number 4 NR, meaning he was part of that division's reserve, usually made up of the tallest and most-imposing men on a division (he was 5 foot 8 3/4 inches tall) and used for policing protests and major events. Clapham-born, other records in our collection show Bunn (1869-1955) had served in the Royal Marine Artillery (1886-1892) before working as a warehouseman and then in the Met (1895-1920).
