Three decades after voters ended #RentControl in Massachusetts, rents have exploded. For renters, only California and Hawaii are more expensive than Massachusetts, per @NLIHC. To afford a modest 2-bed apt. at $2,165 per month in MA, a renter would need to earn almost $42 an hour.
