Law #10: Infection: Avoid the Unhappy and the Unlucky Yes, this means blocking those who whine and complain, who post sob stories about their lives, and who have a poverty mindset. Avoiding negative people is the #1 life hack you can use. Mindset is infectious.

This would be funny if I didn’t actually know a few who followed the exact same path.

Never knew this and this is super cool. We need more people like Daniel in our world of vibe-slop today.
The US government told a 23-year-old math student in 1995: "Your code is a weapon. You need an arms license to share it." He sued them. Won. Then built the encryption protecting every message you've ever sent. 🤯 Meet Daniel J. Bernstein 🇺🇸 > Born in New York, 1971. > Finished high school at 15. PhD in Math from UC Berkeley at 24. > 1995: wrote new encryption code to protect people online. > US government classified it as a military weapon. > Required an arms export license ~ like selling missiles ~ just to publish it. > He filed a lawsuit against the United States government. > Fought for 4 years through federal courts. > Won in 1999. Court ruled: writing code = free speech. 🚀 > One lawsuit. Changed internet privacy law forever. > Then got to work. > Designed Curve25519 ~ the math locking your private messages. > Designed ChaCha20 ~ the code scrambling your internet traffic. > Designed Ed25519 ~ the signature securing your logins online. > Built qmail ~ an email server almost nobody has ever hacked. > Signal. WhatsApp. SSH. WireGuard. Tor. > All of them. His math. Your privacy. > Puts $1,000 of his own money on the line for any bug in his code. > No interviews. No fame. > Still a math professor in Chicago. Just ships code. He didn’t seek power or profit ~ he shipped protection. Absolute Legend 🐐

I don’t care if Hantavirus joins forces with HIV, Monkeypox, Bird Flu, and COVID to become a supervirus. I’ll never comply with another public health order for the rest of my life. COVID was enough, and Fauci should be held accountable.

Das Hantavirus wird nur über die Fernseher und Radios übertragen, die von den Regierungen subventioniert werden. Schaltet es aus, und das Zirkus ist vorbei. Lasst euch nicht für Idioten halten.

People say "the world is getting worse." The data says the opposite. Longer lives. Less poverty. More literacy. Cheaper energy. Better medicine. The gap between perception and reality has never been wider, but the crisis news media will tell you otherwise!

The only guy who kept me sane in 2020-21
Dr. John Campbell makes clear the hantavirus is not a pandemic threat in any way. “I’m not really remotely concerned about it.” “If I was, I would certainly tell you.” “In this case, the risks are absolutely negligible to public health.” “Fortunately, it’s not very transmissible and there’s not much of it.” “I expect these cases will be isolated and this will simply die out.”

No, the right answer is to treat sick people, not destroy the lives of the well. Lockdowns achieve nothing; they only wreck society. x.com/asymmetricinfo/status/…

People who want to blow off Hantavirus because COVID turned out to be no big deal: COVID had a fatality rate of 1%, concentrated among the elderly. Hantavirus has an incubation period of up to 8 weeks and kills 30-40% of people who show symptoms. Whole different beast. It’s not pandemic yet and probably won’t be, but if it were, the rational action would be—lockdown

Yes. And let’s make sure there are consequences for these politicians if it turns out to be nothingburger like last one.
Seems a lot like the early bullshit out of Wuhan. Don’t forget, the first time they locked us down, they set us up to expect a much worse pathogen than was circulating. This time, the pathogen IS highly virulent (destructive) but it is also, at worst, barely contagious. Unless they’ve enhanced it. None of us know. But our skepticism should be turned up to 11. Hantavirus in humans is not new, and in its natural form, it is not a pandemic risk.
