I worked on these two concepts, one theme A danfo on a Lagos street. A question you keep avoiding. I approached both with the perfectly imperfect style here's my second entry. @cardtonic #DesignIsChanging

Before you start any form of marketing, get your brand strategy and identity in place.. Without these checked, your efforts will be wasted

Replying to @CiprianiRanieri
I wasted money on marketing. I didn’t have a brand strategy. No target customer. No nothing. I was just blowing money on Meta ads. Made zero meaningful lead.

Here's my entry for the @cardtonic Challenge I interpreted "Perfectly Imperfect" through a fictional fintech brand, showing how imperfections can build trust. I use intentional misalignment to reflect the realities of finance, bold typography to stand it out #DesignIsChanging

Mexico brought the sauce yesterday. Everywhere was Reddd. So I reimagined them as an Hot Sauce brand. Mexico Sauce. #worldcup

The goal is to translate the country’s identity into a compelling brand concept. Examples: * Brazil → Furniture Brand * Italy → Luxury Fashion House You are free to choose any category, provided there is a clear connection between the brand and the country’s culture, reputation, strengths, exports, lifestyle, or global perception. REQUIREMENTS Your concept must: * Be inspired by the chosen country. * Use the country’s national flag colors as the primary color palette. * Reflect recognizable elements of the country’s culture, heritage, industry, lifestyle, or identity. * Feel like a real brand that could exist today DELIVERABLES Define Brand Name and Concept Logo Design Mini Visual Identity Color Palette (derived from the country’s flag) Supporting Brand Elements Brand Application to touchpoints …… Choose your nation. Back your winner. Build the brand. Welcome to Brand Forge: World Cup Edition.

A software engineer friend referred a founder to me for a logistics brand identity project. Before touching a single design file, we had a strategy discussion. I wanted to understand: • What Gofera stands for • Who they're serving • How they're different from others 🧵

The best part? A few moments after delivery, the founder changed his WhatsApp profile picture to the new logo. Before I could even ask for feedback, he sent the remaining 50% payment and told me he loved it. That's one of my favorite moments as a designer.

That's because it's a sign that the founder sees his business in the work you've created. And that's always the goal. Designing logos is easy. Building identities founders are excited to represent is where the real work happens. What makes you trust a brand instantly?

If you're a founder who - has built an MVP (or pre-MVP) but has no brand identity - is pitching investors, partners or customers regularly - wants users to remember your company after seeing it once - needs a visual identity that matches the quality of your product HMU.
