How long do you need to have my bag @KLM before I can claim insurance on you losing it? It is no longer missing- I need you to admit it’s lost so I can claim. (June 22nd)

Update @KLM I am most concerned to hear that there is still no news of my luggage with laptop and that it isn’t considered essential. I will be pursuing compensation and reimbursement.
How can my laptop not be considered an essential item @KLM ? I was told at Kirkwall that I had to put bag in the hold (small plane) and my bag was even spot checked so knowledge that computer was within. 15 days missing now....
