How long do you need to have my bag @KLM before I can claim insurance on you losing it? It is no longer missing- I need you to admit it’s lost so I can claim. (June 22nd)

Really? 50 days you have had my luggage in your ‘care’ @KLM and no word about it’s location or reassurance that it will be returned. I have lost work and money and still no offer of compensation. @Flight_Refunds #lostluggage #Compensation

This must be a record. My bag has been missing for four weeks @KLM. All forms have been filled in and no word of progress. Valuable items inside. Surely now I can claim insurance?

Still waiting for news from @KLM - I’ve not seen my bag since June 22nd. It has my laptop in it and I’ve been told I can’t get compensation for electronic goods!! Help

Update @KLM I am most concerned to hear that there is still no news of my luggage with laptop and that it isn’t considered essential. I will be pursuing compensation and reimbursement.

How can my laptop not be considered an essential item @KLM ? I was told at Kirkwall that I had to put bag in the hold (small plane) and my bag was even spot checked so knowledge that computer was within. 15 days missing now....
