As a man. Act poor. Act broke. Act like a useless man. Have more than you show and speak less than you know. It’s very dangerous to showcase what God is doing in your life around unhappy people.

A black pill about life is that the successful people you see today all started young. While you were dicking around with your loser friends in high school, their parents were teaching them financial literacy. While you were playing video games until 4am, they were being pushed to the limit in their respective sport, business, or craft. Their parents were teaching them about APR, taxes, and investing while you were playing Fortnite like a cuck. By the time you realized how the real world works, they already had a 10 year head start. If you weren’t taught how to be great during your adolescence, you’re playing catch-up for the rest of your life.

Distracted men stay broke. Obsessed men stay dangerous. The difference between the two is simply where they point their attention.

The unfair advantages of being funny: 1. People remember you without you trying 2. You walk into a meeting and the energy shifts 3. Your boss laughs at your jokes which means he can never really be mad at you 4. You defuse arguments before they turn into HR incidents 5. People invite you everywhere because every group needs one 6. You make the nervous new hire feel at ease on their first day and they never forget it 7. Your kids think you're the coolest person alive well into their teenage years 8. You can say hard truths and nobody takes offence because it landed as a punchline 9. Interviews feel like conversations and you always get called back 10. You get away with being late because everyone is just glad you showed up 11. People assume you're confident even on the days you're not 12. Your wife still laughs at your jokes after ten years which is rarer than you think 13. Strangers at parties gravitate toward you and you never have to introduce yourself twice 14. You turn a bad day at work into a story everyone wants to hear by evening 15. You never eat alone 16. Doctors, dentists and waiters all treat you slightly better than everyone else and you know exactly why 17. You can disagree with someone powerful in a room full of people and walk out with their respect 18. People describe you as charismatic even though all you did was make them laugh twice

a strict fool is someone who takes a single opinion, experience, piece of knowledge, or perception as the whole universal truth. Someone who treats an exception as the rule.

Trust is the moment you stop checking. It is also the moment when you become most exploitable. You elect who you trust. Betrayal is usually the result of a bad assessment.

Most people just like talking in fantasies. They dread the process of actualizations. They’re lovers of talks without actions. Never mix up with this set of individuals. They’ll only keep you in the loop of overthinking and wishful desires without doing anything worthwhile.

When you’ve got power, people that have wronged you in the past will try to maneuver and craw their ways back into your life with the hope that you won’t be aware of their manipulative strategies. The ultimate reason they’re trying to affix themselves to you when you’re winning is because they’ve notice they’ll gain much resources from you. Nothing else. Not because they’ve realized they’ve made mistakes in going against you in the past. They just want to tap from your advantages you’ve accrued. And if you allow them into your life, they’ll make sure you go insane until they drain you financially and emotionally. And then the cycle of infidelity and disloyalty continues. Human patterns never disappear.
