A small public service announcement from the Department of Things That You Should Know… It has not ā€œpeekedā€ your interest. Nor has it ā€œpeakedā€ your interest. …It has piqued your interest. You are not ā€œphasedā€ by something. You are fazed by it. If you’ve had a long day, you are weary. If you suspect someone is an idiot, you are wary. It is ā€œdue courseā€, not ā€œdo courseā€. ā€œPer seā€, not ā€œper sayā€. And while we’re here, it’s ā€œcould haveā€, not ā€œcould ofā€, but that particular battle may already be lost. Thank you for your attention during this brief outbreak of grammatical housekeeping. This has been a @LairdofthManor announcement.šŸŽ©šŸ’™

Wow. You obviously don’t understand the policy you pushed or you think we are stupid. Proving your age for alcohol is a shopkeeper glancing at a card. Proving it online means uploading your passport or your face to a tech platform that keeps it. Prove your age’ becomes ā€˜prove who you are.’ That IS the back door.
Back door to Digital ID? Some are asking if the under-16s social media ban is a backdoor to Digital ID? As far as Kemi and the Conservatives are concerned, absolutely not. We are entirely opposed to digital ID and want to see the ban implemented in a way that doesn’t force mandatory digital ID onto anyone. Proving your age for social media should be no more intrusive than it is for buying alcohol.

It is such a joke. "we buy the same oil carried by this tanker but we are going to send in the SBS for a stunt to divert attention away from our defense incompetence and make it look like we are doing something"

There are serious and legitimate questions about the authenticity of the footage released by the MOD of the interdiction of the Russian Shadow Fleet vessel this morning. How is the cameraman ahead of the Marines clearing the stairwell to be able to film them coming towards him. How has the cameraman gone past the open doors of rooms that haven’t yet been cleared? How much of this has been staged for the cameras? I don’t doubt that a Russian tanker was seized and that the operation carried significant risk. I do question the PR and the desperate need for a win by the Government at the Royal Marines’ expense.

Wasn't it dangerous for the cameraman to be at the bottom of the ladder before the assault team arrived?
🚨 Starmer posts dramatic Royal Marines boarding a Russian tanker like it’s D-Day… then threatens Putin. All scripted theatre to drag Britain into another war while our borders burn. He’s no Churchill - he’s a warmonger in a suit. We have no funds and cannot fight Russia alone - he hasn’t a clue what he’s messing with and šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø won’t help whilst he’s in power. How far will we go until he’s actually crippled this country with us in it šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§

Keir, you "directed" it? At 3am? From your donor-funded flat? Please. You were asleep. A civil servant texted you at 7am and you replied "good, keep me briefed" between bites of avocado toast. "Shadow fleet" listen to you. One oil tanker. One. Russia has 4,000. You've delivered a blow like a mosquito delivers a blow to a rhinoceros. The rhino hasn't noticed. The mosquito is taking credit on Twitter. 14K likes from people who think you're Churchill in pyjamas. Meanwhile the tanker crew is already on a flight home and Putin's oil revenue hasn't dipped enough to cancel his Tuesday massage. Stick to directing things you understand. Like which donor's sofa to crash on next. The Armed Forces work while you tweet.
In the early hours of this morning, I directed our Armed Forces to intercept a shadow fleet oil tanker attempting to pass through the English Channel. This successful operation delivers yet another blow to Russia and reminds those fueling Putin's war in Ukraine that we will not let them hide. I want to thank those involved, including our Armed Forces and law enforcement officers who keep this country safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Army has its own share of officers who are not up to the mark. Becoming an MP afterwards is no guarantee that they will be any good at politics either, even if they have acquired an impressive rack of medals.

A Sudanese asylum seeker tried to behead a British man in broad daylight. Belfast burns. Working class families watch their streets become war zones because the government filled their hotels with men nobody vetted. And Matthew Stadlen sat in a studio. Correcting Bev Turner's vocabulary. That is the image. The grammar police of national collapse. The pedant at the funeral correcting the eulogy. Bev was on the ground watching consequences. Matthew was in climate controlled comfort tutting at her word choice. Look at him. Really look at him. That is the face of a man who has chosen his side and it is not yours. Let us be precise, since Matthew loves precision. Belfast did not riot. Belfast responded. The government imported the man who attempted murder. The government created the hotel scheme. The government told working class communities their daughters were the acceptable collateral damage of moral vanity. Every flame in Belfast traces back to a policy Matthew Stadlen has cheerleed for a decade. He is not a journalist. He is a comfort blanket for the policy class. The man you wheel out when reality is getting too loud and needs a posh voice to euphemise it. The BBC found him too mediocre. LBC found him too predictable. The Telegraph found him too transparent. He has descended platform by platform until he landed at GB News playing the in-house contrarian, the token foil, the man hired specifically to lose arguments so the panel looks balanced. His entire function now is to make government failure sound reasonable. To make beheadings sound regrettable but complicated. To make burning streets sound like a vocabulary problem. To make working class anger sound like a hygiene issue the better classes must tolerate. Matthew, the houses are burning because of the policies you defend. The women are dying because of the borders you celebrate. The streets are erupting because of the silence you maintain. You are not the adult in the room. You are the man holding the petrol can while lecturing everyone about fire safety. Your career has been a slow public demonstration of irrelevance. Your contradictions are catalogued. Your cowardice is recorded. And the people you sneer at on television outnumber your viewership by several orders of magnitude. Keep correcting Bev's grammar. The country has already corrected yours.

Thanks in part to this filthy website, we seem in very recent times to be slipping back towards a place where whole groups of people, sometimes races or ethnicities, are being blamed for the evil-doing of a tiny minority. It is a profoundly backward, poisonous and anti-British ideology that is rooted in the gutter and represents the road to perdition.

This is the best analogy yet with a solution for the mess that the UK is now in economically. I bought a bird feeder. I hung it in my back garden and filled it with seed. Within a week we had lots of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started… Building nests in the shed, in the eaves,in the fences and in my garden bushes. Then came the shit. It was everywhere,on the patio,on the chairs, the table,windows..everywhere! Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night And demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while,I couldn't even sit in my own back garden anymore. So I took down the Bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the garden. Soon, the back yard was like It used to be ..... Quiet,serene.... And no one demanding their rights to a free meal. Now let's see...... Our government gives out Free food, subsidised housing, free medical care and free education, and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen. Then the illegal’s came by the hundreds of thousands. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services, small apartments are housing 5 families, you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor, your child's second grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English. Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box,I have to press one to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than ā€oursā€ are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties. Just my opinion, but maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder.

Speaking for the nation, again. Great question.
The Prime Minister has failed to stop the boats amongst many other things and people are despairing. He’s lost the confidence of the nation, trade union members and his own backbenchers. I have today asked him when he will resign.

Great photo. The binning of aircraft apprenticeships, Direct Entry Technicians and minimum of 18 months trade training was one of the early indicators on the demise of the RAF. Halton was fairly good being located close to Stoke Mandeville nurses… good for partying.

A year before 7/7 I was stabbed, beaten and left for dead on a street in Manchester. It was a gang of Somali youths. My colleagues - I was working at a university - couldn’t bring themselves to blame the perpetrators. It was poverty, it was me, it was anything. But it wasn’t the masked thugs with stanley knives. 7/7 was the same. London Mayor Ken Livingstone urged us not to apportion blame. Even now the MSM refuses to acknowledge the Islamist nature of the crime. It’s an extraordinary state of affairs. Years later, in 2017, when twenty-two people, some of them children, were killed in the Manchester Arena attack, history repeated itself. Don’t look back in anger. One Love. Shit poetry. The stabbing I got over. But it took me years to come to terms with the pathetic reaction from the hand-wringing identitarians. That was really, really damaging. So I understand full well the harm we do to ourselves when we pretend 7/7 was some bizarre and contextless tragedy. It was Islamist terror - and there’s more to come. And you know what? We have absolutely no hope of effectively dealing with it.

This morning in Parliament, I was accosted by Lib Dem MP Angus MacDonald, who accused me and others of inciting violence. His aggressive approach and tone left me feeling threatened and shaken. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, especially from fellow MPs. We all have different views and should be able to disagree respectfully. The Lib Dems support open borders, while Reform UK supports controlled immigration and putting the British people first. That’s not inciting violence, that’s doing what’s best for the United Kingdom. šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§
