I have contacted SNP leader John Swinney and Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth to congratulate them on their enormous mandates.
For the first time ever, there could be three pro-independence First Ministers across these islands.
More and more people are looking towards a future beyond the constraints of the Union.
I look forward to continuing to build the friendship between the people of our nations, and to working closely with both John and Rhun in the time ahead.

John Swinney didn’t deliver this win…it was the tireless work of British negotiators working for a British Government that’s delivered for Scotland.
Scotland deserves better than a First Minister failing at home, claiming credit for another Government’s achievements abroad.

Paisley was voted Scotland's Town of the Year. We are working with the owners of the Paisley Centre. We've also spent c 120 million on regeneration, from public buildings to supporting a decade of investment in cultural events and local organisations.

The only BBC TV footage of Anas Sarwar on the day the Mandelson email scandal broke was on Scotcast. Sarwar was given a lengthy platform to push his mobile phones policy. BBC Scotland is actively campaigning on Sarwar's behalf. Anti-SNP smears and policy promos are the norm.

Radio Scotland Breakfast had not one Scottish politician on this morning to talk about the Mandelson scandal. No Labour MSP or MP. No SNP politician despite the fact Stephen Flynn has been at the forefront of pursuing Mandelson. No mention of Sarwar's friendship with Mandelson. A damage limitation programme.
