Today is my last day in the QA team before I venture off on 15 month secondment into QI, so grateful for my colleagues for the support and learning opportunities. I feel like I’m finally flying the nest after being in the CND for 7.5 years. Looking forward to a new challenge🧡

#ThumbsUpFriday to The Health Tree Foundation for funding a wish for portable dignity screens for the mortuary department at Grimsby hospital. Thanks to generous donors and fundraising, the charity was able to buy these. The screens have had a positive impact on the department.

Sharing the amazing achievements of our acute wards and departments in their 2023 15 steps visits. We’ve had some improvement journeys and some areas maintaining their ratings - a fantastic year and an improvement of ratings achieved in 2022. Well done all for your hard work💙

Our 230 delegates at our Nursing, Midwifery and AHP conference have just heard a powerful story from Sarah - the daughter of a former patient – Carol. As a result of her story we have launched, Carol’s Campaign, which is looking at how we can improve our support for families.

A small snippet of the Children’s Development Centre at Grimsby Hospital. Our amazing HCA Angela has brightened up the department for children using their services with each room a different theme. How fantastic and an absolute asset to the trust coming in in her free time🎨🐠✨
