After months of no-lifing my project I finally got it in! Definitely gonna revamp everything with the things I know now, but it was a great experience to start! Gonna take it much slower now though so I can draw other things again and do other things too. #gamedev #indiedev

Figuring out the tilemaps along with enemy movement and transitions. Also found out out how to scale everything up as well so my images won’t look as terrible in game thankfully. Gonna try working on menus and stuff before starting on actually building maps. #gamedev #indiedev

I’ll post progress sometimes, so here’s where I’m at after trying to figure out drawing pixel art sprite animations, tiles, and how to use Godot… it’s just a picture cause I’m too lazy to learn how to record but It moves. Any advice welcome honestly for help.#gamedev #indiedev

Still constantly going back and editing things as I learn, but eventually I’m prolly gonna end up redrawing a lot after the semester is over since I don’t want to have to rush a bad game out in the next month and a half. I’ll learn and apply more things then

Spending 10 hours a day trying to learn to animate sprites lets you learn a lot… the problem is when you learn you quickly see how bad the things you made before were and now you wanna redo it like 4 times till you realize you've spent way too long and say screw it good enough!

After 3 days of trying to figure out pixel art and make a character sprite I made one! …Then I decided to change the size of my tiles so this is scrapped. Might as well throw it here though.
