Mike Evans will likely have a bigger positive impact on the 49ers than Myles Garrett has on the Rams.
It’s simple logic. LA already had a top-8 pass rush win rate last year and wasn’t deficient at DE. Jared Verse is an upper-tier player.
Meanwhile, SF was very deficient at WR — particularly the X, a spot that’ll trigger compounding returns in Shanahan’s offense.
The Rams’ pass rush should be better. The 49ers’ WR corps can be transformed.

If he had an arm injury he wouldn't be throwing at all. It's more about preventing an injury and getting the feel of a lighter object while he works on his mechanics.

Well…..
Justin Herbert throwing from a clean pocket or not hurried has been incredibly rare.
I’m ngl l seen a few wobblers from Herb this past season. Some passes didn’t have the same type of spice on them either.
I think he’s fine for now but I am a little concerned long term about his arm. Might not show up a ton like it did last season but maybe in near future.
