Baller ✅ QB1✅ Hard work, dedication, sacrifices. The pay off will be sweet. 75 days!
⚫️ UTAHBALLERS - QB1 ⚫️ The UtahBallers QB1 program is designed to build, promote and assist high level quarterbacks so that they have the best opportunity to reach the next level. Promotion on this platform is EARNED, not given. The players highlighted on this series have been evaluated, coached and recognized at a top level prospect from the state of Utah. These quarterbacks meet the criteria for what college programs look for at the position. • QB1 • • Bryson Sweeney | 6’3 - 220 | 2027 Cannon arm, relentless work ethic, obvious leadership - those are a few of the traits that describe the Herriman QB1. Bryson Sweeney is a great example of persistence in the face of adversity. The path he’s had as a quarterback hasn’t been easy, nothing has been given to him, there have been no shortcuts. I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate Bryson at several venues and the progress he has made is impressive. Sweeney has attended multiple UtahBallers evaluation camps. He went from finishing outside the top ten 3 months ago, to earning camp MVP at our most recent event. This would not happen without a tremendous amount of time spent in the lab. I’ve found that he is a player who will give his all to his program, his teammates and to his craft. When we’ve trained together, it’s been about developing, not generating fake hype - bet on that. From a prospect standpoint, there is a lot to like. At 6’3, 220 lbs, he has the frame to thrive at the next level. As a QB evaluator and trainer, I always want to see players that CAN pass to win - Bryson does that. He’s also improved athletically to the point that defenders will be forced to keep tabs on him in the run game. Bryson has the strongest arm in the state and is able to drive the ball with college level velocity anywhere on the field. His mechanics and release are quick, generates a tight spiral, and gets the ball from A to B in a hurry. He does this without needing the laces which is notable. He is the only player I’ve evaluated with that ability. I’m eager to see his recruitment take off, this is someone college coaches should be watching. @BrySween_1 @HHSMustangFB @coachpsween @coachrickards @MaxwellPCotton @CoachL_Anderson @delanefitz @AlaimaloNick @dsema24 @DustinDDavis @Matty_AhYou @allashford1 @CoachGDBrown73 @CoachBrentMyers @Coach_Brown5 @Coach_Sooto @CoachJT_ISU @CoachChrisGocke @Coach_DiRi @Coach_Dennison @Coach_Ena @CoachGallatin @KiyoshiHarris @CoachLennox_ @CoachLapuaho

So proud of this kid. Didn’t run from adversity or competition. Just put his head down and worked his ass off, and now reaping the rewards. Thanks to @coachblairp , @ballersinutah and Compete Elite for putting in the work with him this offseason. Back to the grind! #QB1

STANDOUTS QB: MVP - Jagger Fountaine - Skyridge @JaggerFountaine I was looking forward to seeing the new QB1 from Skyridge up close. I was eager to see his development from last season, and he’s truly done a great job. Velocity is improving, his timing and anticipation were on point. It didn’t surprise me that he was competing at an MVP level the entire camp - he has the IT factor. Jagger is a smart, humble player that will be making major noise good final 2 years in high school. He is coachable and calm leader. Skyridge is going to be a problem. ✍🏻✍🏻 I would love to see Jagger shorten his stride length, generate more efficiency in the hip/ shoulder disassociation and cancel the forward lean that shows itself on high velocity throws. These areas of improvement are linked together, so starting with the stride will likely correct the other components. If he can do that, which he will, he has a chance to be the next great QB from our state. Sky is the limit. Way to ball my guy 👊🏻 @skyridgefb @coachjhemm STANDOUT • Bryson Sweeney - Herriman @BrySween_1 The 6’3 Mustang QB was arguably the most consistent passer on the night and was neck and neck for the MVP. He displayed high level accuracy and anticipation on several throws in all three areas of the field. His improvement over the last 3 months as a passer is fantastic - he’s really developing into a high caliber player. Arm strength is solid, and his confidence has taken a step up as well. He showed leadership ability at camp which was great to see. Bryson can improve his outward striding habit, remain taller and more square on the release/finish, and continue to develop quicker feet. This will be a priority going into spring ball, and an afterthought come fall camp. Great work 💯 @coachrickards @HHSMustangFB STANDOUT • Boston Wright - Northridge @thebostonwright Boston, only in 8th grade, was the youngest player at camp. Ultimately it didn’t matter because he hung in there and battled against some great competition against older kids. He is an exciting prospect that already has size (6’3) you like at the position. He showcases solid arm strength, poise and a competitive nature that is rare for a player his age. Extremely coachable and honest with himself. It will be fun to see him approach his ceiling the next 4 years. Boston can do a better job with footwork, abs generating lower body power to give his arm a break. He also needs to get a higher ball carriage and maintain upper body control upon release. His off arm tends to dip which will need to be corrected as well. I have NO doubt this will be addressed quickly. This kid is one to watch. Keep it up! 🔥
