Can we pause the game for an hour so we can all process how insane that KAT offensive foul was? What the fuck just happened?

I don't understand how GitHub still doesn't have a button to reset the "viewed" status of all file diffs.

One use case we've found for HTML is building cheap data applets for investigating new datasets. Much richer than sharing CSVs and doesn't require setting up deployments.

Robot Forrest Gump
This Chinese humanoid robot just shattered the world record for a half marathon, finishing in 50 min 26 sec. This video shows its crash just meters before the finish line where it had to be picked up by a team of humans. The robot is from Honor, the smartphone maker and Huawei spin-off. This robot was teleoperated while others were autonomous. It seems like all the robots had battery swaps along the way.

Definitely on the naughty list this year.
NEW: The FBI and Federal prosecutors in New York say they've charged Sean Pildes, the leader of "SantaCon" an annual charity fundraiser in NYC, with allegedly pocketing a significant amount of the proceeds himself. Pildes was arrested this morning and charged with wire fraud.

Why is every AI example recipes? Is it just something everyone can relate to that's relatively easy to get a basic prototype of?

My friend set up a shop that builds 3D-printed layouts of cityscapes. My rendering of Central Park came yesterday (the hand is Sally's). Pretty cool!

A shame. Waymo tested 8 AVs in NYC with zero crashes reported and now permits expire with no clear path forward. Meanwhile, cities like Houston, Atlanta, and Phoenix are scaling up robotaxis already proven 92% safer than human drivers. New York is falling behind here.

I hope that @NYCMayor and @GovKathyHochul consider the safety benefits of autonomous vehicles over protecting jobs that can be transferred elsewhere. A 90% reduction in accidents would be huge and also make it easier to encourage bikers and mixed-use streets.
