Hello @meena_ko! I really enjoyed your workshop as part of @UserResearchLDN last week! How do we go about getting those slides you shared? Keen to share back with my team and my bad photos don't do them justice. Thanks in advance!

Hey #accessibility and #events friends! I’m looking for a BSL interpreter for a meet up. Do you have any recommendations? I’d also be interested in someone to do live captions! Thanks in advance!

Accessibility friends, how have you been conducting research with screenreader users remotely? Is there a meeting tool which can record and share the screenreader output as well as the conversation between participant and moderator? Teams doesn't seem to be able to do it!

I keep mine at the bottom. The vertical dock feels a bit precarious. Like I feel like the icons are gonna fall off

I went to the shop today specifically to buy a tin of sweets, only to discover they now come in a plastic tub 😭

My parents’ cat inexplicably LOVES peaches, and it’s the most delightful thing. They send regular picture updates to the family group chat of this cat just chilling with the peaches. It’s the most important notification I get to my phone.

Reading these reviews is one of my favourite things to do while shopping 😄 I love it when people get fired up about the mundane!

Hey #accessibility #a11y folks, do we know of anyone who does a mobile empathy lab? Or equipment to hire? I know @GDSTeam and @NHSDigital have their own. I've only done DIY ones before inspired by @DrSimoneStumpf at @cityuni_hcid.

Ok, so this might be the best hot chocolate in the world. It’s from @CV1882 and it’s basically like drinking warm melted chocolate ice cream. My life is complete 🍫

Working from the office again is an excuse to buy the most epic hot chocolate from Dartbrooke Coffee ❤️

This level of victim-blaming is absurd. The logic follows that Harold Shipman's victims should've questioned what he was doing. This is abuse of power, pure and simple. It's not on the vulnerable to go out of their way; it's on those in power to uphold their oaths to protect.
Just when you think the absurdity of victim blaming could not possibly go any further, here is a Police Commissioner openly blaming Sarah Everard for what happened to her on BBC radio bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-yo… #FixTheSystemNotTheWomen

My husband responded to my confusion and woe trying to understand Union Square station by doing in two hours what the MTA will not, and creating a tactile map of the place. This is a prototype but it only took a few minutes touching and talking it through to build a mental model.

I’ve found travelling with a pram has helped me develop even more empathy for train travellers with mobility needs. Journeys generally take much longer and I may chose to take an alternative route with easier changes or step free access #a11y
