Besides opus 4.8 and gpt 5.5 are people using other models which are cheaper to run, and gets good enough output to do your work. Because for some reason I can’t leave sonnet or opus models now.

Science is not a process, a credential, or an institution. It is the unflinching pursuit of truth, carried out by the few, co-opted by the many.

I still can’t believe that this has reached 2k stars and 10k downloads. What started as exp which I built in a day trunout to be a really good product. Will add more features and will launch more such products.
2,000 stars on BetterShot. ⭐ A few months ago, this number felt very far away. There were days when I spent hours creating content that barely got noticed. Days when growth was slow, motivation was low, and it felt like everyone else was moving faster. There were plenty of moments where it would've been easier to stop caring about the numbers altogether. But I kept showing up. Not because I knew it would work, but because I genuinely enjoyed improving, learning, and putting my work out there every day. Today, seeing that 2,000-star milestone means a lot more than just a number. It's proof that consistency matters. Small efforts repeated over and over eventually become something meaningful. I'm grateful to everyone who supported, engaged, gave feedback, and believed in what I was building. Every single star came from a real person who decided my work was worth recognizing, and I don't take that for granted. This is definitely not the finish line. It's just a reminder that progress often happens quietly before it becomes visible. Thank you for being part of the journey. Here's to the next chapter. 🚀

Recording a polished product video usually means a $200 app, a bloated download, and "sorry, macOS only." So I built VidStudio - Record Beautiful Product Videos from your Browser Here's what it can do: • Record screen, window or tab webcam • AI auto-zoom that follows every click • Manual zooms you drag in on the timeline • Auto captions transcribed locally in your browser • 4 caption styles Pop, Minimal, Karaoke & Boxed, fully editable • Backgrounds, gradients, presets & your own images • Borders, rounded corners & shadows • One-click aspect ratios 16:9, & 1:1 • Trim, cut & edit in-browser • Export cloud storage, all your videos in one dashboard Works on Mac, Windows & Linux in Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc. It's live today 🚀 Try it → vidstudio.live

Replying to @DanielSmidstrup
Your skill level acts as a ceiling for the agent So every skill you gain multiplies your output Never been a better time to git gud

What a time we are living in people use to shame others who use to use ai to code and now we have to keep a slot just to go back to write code by hand.

I've been coding without AI one day a week since Jan. I recommend everyone should.

iMessage is where America actually texts. agents have always been locked out of it. .@photon_hq .@NousResearch just fixed that any OS, any setup your agent now lives right in your messages. this is way bigger than it looks. 🤝
iMessage is one of the most used messaging channels in America. Yet support for it in personal assistants has always been fragile. We partnered with @NousResearch to fix that. Now anyone can connect to iMessage, on any OS, and unlock entirely new iMessage experiences.

I was laid off so I rebuilt their product but better (in 2 weeks from scratch) Open Canvas - a multiplayer site builder with an agent at the cursor. Most website builders ask you to fill in a template.I built one that lets you design - on a free-form canvas, with an AI agent at your cursor, where your whole team co-edits live and visitors see your publish update without refreshing. What makes it different: • Drag 14 design primitives anywhere — not into fixed slots • AI agent edits in plain English, you preview before it lands • Real-time co-editing (Yjs CRDT, Figma-style cursors) • Publish → every open visitor tab updates in <100ms Under the hood: one Cloudflare Worker, serverless Postgres, a first-class CMS, version history, a blocking accessibility audit, AI image gen, custom domains — all shipping as pure HTML, zero client-framework weight. It's MIT-licensed and built in the open

wondering why I feel exhausted. maybe: the agents do all the easy stuff, and I have to work through the leftover hard bits, which means I'm perpetually locked in. and as the models get better, "my" work just gets harder and harder, until I'm basically underqualified to do the work (which... is better than the alternative, there's nothing left for me to do, and I'm paperclipped).
