Destiny is bigger than a game. Marathon is a great game plagued by boycotts and I do mean that. It has boycotts prior to any stolen art controversies, game director being exposed as a Wyd at 2AM to his female coworkers kinda dude, the delay, the background decisions to delay the game to fix stolen art and release it at the exact same time as a Destiny 2 DLC, to forcing that DLC to be delayed 4 months to promote itself and killing it’s own twin brother. In the slight future resulting in mass layoffs. All of these actions have/had nothing to do with how the game feels to play, the games mechanics ect. being bad for the genre it was proposed for at all. Marathon has essentially been jumped by 10 people all day every day it has existed and it will never get a fair shake. That’s just the reality of the situation
