The statement, “I believe that playing the best Valorant for your team is what matters,” shows that the FUT coaches have fully adapted to their team, and also demonstrates that you can play Valoran well even if you’re not used to coaching this style of play. Many coaches from T3 or even T2/T1 make the mistake of continuing to force their players to implement systems that don’t suit the team at all, and then you don’t see any success. If you want to implement your system, you can only do so with a team that’s been built for that system, not with a team that isn’t suited to it at all. I’ve made these mistakes myself and have since adapted to my team; you can still pass on your concepts to the players, but as a coach you should always be prepared to adapt, and unfortunately that’s something many coaches in the lower tiers lack, though there are exceptions in the higher tiers too.
