In 2023, Codethink added support for RISC-V's vector cryptography extension (crypto) to QEMU. These upgrades enhance cryptographic performance for operations like AES and SHA-2.

Earlier this year, we were asked to build a three-node distributed system in Rust, with each node running parallel multistage pipelines and communicating in real-time. With a tight schedule, the pressure was on.
