Big fan of @LevelUpTuts, their series are not too long, correctly assumes *some* prior knowledge where appropriate and good explanations with examples.
I use it alongside @eggheadio for most my learning.

Over-engineering is a serious problem. In my opinion, the more brilliant and ambitious somebody is, the more guilty they are of over-engineering solutions and overstating the benefits of it.
