My first gameplay video of Ihlara Learner game. It is about survival in Ihlara Valley in Türkiye. It doesn't include all the features, just a glimpse into the game.

Name a fictional character that everone hates: The one I hate: Commodus from Gladiator(2000)

Neither, as stated >> they're optimizing for different things. The honest answer is: Single database, write-heavy, no sharding planned, and you don't care about exposing IDs → auto-increment integer is the simplest correct choice. ...

Two engineers argue: Engineer A: "Use UUIDs as primary keys." Engineer B: "Use auto-increment integers." Your table will have 500 million rows. Who is right?

Distributed/sharded system, client-side ID generation, or IDs exposed publicly → you want UUIDs, but use UUIDv7, not random UUIDv4, to avoid the index-fragmentation tax. Want both → hybrid: internal BIGINT PK plus a public UUID column.

The trap in the question is the "500 million rows" detail. It's meant to make you think "big = use UUIDs for distribution" or "big = avoid UUID overhead." In reality, scale is exactly when you stop treating it as binary and reach for UUIDv7 or the hybrid.

Illogical move made by US goverment.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

What can you do with claude fable 5? For example, I am developing a 3D unity(c#) game.

claude fable 5 model just fixed my game lagging issue. I am developing a new game and it was lagging. Opus 4.8 couldn't solve it but this new model is really great or I thought it was. it recreated the memory leak issue again. not sure it is a great model or not.

It fixed the memory leak with just one prompt, that was cool.

Did you switch to fable 5? If you don't know how to do it. In the terminal: /model claude-fable-5

AI will not take our jobs. The process has already started, future clause is wrong.

No, AI is not totally reliable, for example I am developing a game in Unity. I played the game and after some time my windows crashed because of not enough space left in my disk. It was never destroying the items that were created. I solved the problem with Claude opus 4.8
AI is ruining everything Someone spent years bleeding over complex logic, scalable systems, and clean code principles. AI casually does it cleaner and faster without any pain. All blood, sweat, failed interviews, and growth? Totally worthless now. Effort and talent are getting replaced overnight. Why bother trying hard at anything?

Mess was created by Antigravity. It was really sad. Claude opus 4.8 could fix the issue.

If you are facing with opus 4.7 instead of 4.8, do the following npm i -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code
