Last week, H.R. 1669 (VET TEC Authorization Act of 2023) passed the House. The bill now moves on to the Senate.

I helped build Google's Inactivity account manager, it's a great feature and everyone should set it up on all their platforms.
Big use cases:
- Don't let your photos disappear, share them with loved ones
- Share account numbers and asset locations only after death

An observation: When companies put a claim in their name, it's almost certainly not true. But because it's in their name, vs. a claim in their advertising, you can't argue with them.

I am curious how @Spotify aligns prohibiting transfers to competing services with Article 20 of GDPR, it would seem like there is a "technically feasible" way to do a direct transfer, they would just prefer people didn't: appleinsider.com/articles/20…

Please note that since October 2018 original YouTube videos are not necessarily accessible after 6 months, see: support.google.com/youtube/f… for the anouncment
For the security researchers that are scared about YT's updated terms, takeout.google.com will let you download all your videos. I believe it is the original upload, not the 720p version CreatorStudio gives you. May need to export as your branded account.

Crazy, if you try to print the @Dropbox transparency report(dropbox.com/transparency/rep…), none of the numbers show up, both Safari and Chrome.
Overall theirs is really pretty but seriously lacking in usability: no download, no deep links, and no print screen.
