wrote about if Tanner Hall could be the #MNTwins next prominent pitching development success story over at @twindaily. he uses a vulcan-style grip on his changeup, which makes it one of the best and most intriguing offspeed pitches in the organization.

Yes, how dare the Twins use their second best reliever to preserve a two run lead in the top of the 8th. It’s not like this is standard procedure and literally every other manager in baseball would have done the exact same thing.
We were joined by @NickNelsonMN to lay the Twins’ season to rest, though Cody tried to look on the bright side. We tried to look ahead to the prospects of rest of the season—hitting, pitching, running, and fielding, and played Immaculate Gregg

Payton Eeles has become a marvel of a prospect in the #MNTwins org since joining them on May 7. He's hit .315/.441/.486 with 32 SBs in 88 games across the Minors.

not going to pile on Julien, but i think there needs to be a shift in how Twins fans view him. it's probably more appropriate to view him in the same light as borderline MLB players like Severino, Camargo, Keirsey Jr, etc. rather than Wallner, Larnach, and maybe even Martin.
that outcome would be disappointing. however, that type of player still has a lot of value, especially over a 162 game season. nevertheless, the days of him being a 138 wRC player who's a cog at the top of the lineup are likely over. luckily, the org can shoulder that burden
as they have a significant number of prospects in the high and low minors who project to be sustainably productive MLB-caliber players (Lee, Keaschall, DeBarge, Culpepper, and maybe Schobel, Doncon, Amick, etc.)
Scott Blewett offers some intrigue, at least. Recommend checking out @codyschoenmann's recent piece at @twinsdaily drawing some parallels to Jeff Hoffman, who's officially become "the one that got away": twinsdaily.com/news-rumors/m…
I said this on the @TwinsOffDaily pod, but Richards’s struggles are in no way an indictment on the front office. They were operating with both hands tied behind their back and were never going to have the $ necessary to acquire anything more expensive than a mid-leverage reliever
If you are going to get be angry about every little thing, then at least direct those feelings toward the deserving party. Falvey and the front office (who deserve a ton of credit) and a middling reliever who was essentially a waiver claim shouldn’t be the focus of anyone’s angst
The @TwinsOffDaily guys dissect 14 games in 13 day with its share of ups and downs. They consider fearmongering about the state of the bullpen, question whether the Twins have the best catching duo in baseball, and so much more!

Rocco Baldelli is probably going to be the Twins manager for 5 more years and retire with more playoff wins and a higher regular season winning-percentage than Ron Gardenhire. I don't understand why so many are quick to microanalyze and hyper-fixate on every decision he makes.
This isn't me making a "stop watching the Twins if you're so angry all the time" thread where I try to manufacture some artificial enthusiasm. I just simply want those who follow the team to check their privilege and understand how good they have it being a fan of this franchise
They are one of the few franchises in MLB that have constructed a true World Series contender in the short term and have enough talent in the system to maintain sustained success into the intermediate and extended future. Please enjoy what is a very good team and well-run org.
