The sad thing about Catholicism is that Catholics never know if they're saved.
Their hope is not in Christ the Savior alone. They hope that their lifetime of personal good works, "cooperation", will be accepted by God on judgment day.
It's a complete denial of the gospel.

So, when the Bible says you can KNOW you're saved, but the magesterium says No! that is sin of presumption. Then you ignore scripture and side with the blind leaders who keep you enslaved to a works based salvation void of any grace that actually saves.

Catholics think:

I believe "Perfected forever" means "salvation completed" for God’s elect by the one time sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
That salvation is applied to the elect at the the moment of regeneration.
