Museums & the traditional art world are in a precarious spot. So is internet-era art. While many of us here have lost patience with old institutions, remember the people working there love art just as deeply as we do, and with far less greater potential for profits. They're not our enemies, they're potential allies wrestling with the same questions we are. At every major museum, there is one weirdo out there fighting to support the great art of our time, at least that has been my experience.
