Totally changed my stance on finance in football, I use to think financial fair play would be a good thing and would help well run clubs compete, but it turns out it’s completely unenforceable and clubs still do what they want so you just as well acknowledge it’s the Wild West.

Referees trying to cite rules they don’t understand themselves to justify their decisions absolutely mystifies me. You can now control the ball with your hand even though it has gone past you and set up a goal and that is okay 🤯

Where are the great players in this generation of footballers. I’d argue there is only Saka, TAA and possibly Cole Palmer although it’s early days for him. Are they just all played into the ground with too much football.

I just don’t see how VAR miss the blatant blocking at Arsenal corners it’s so blatant. The front post man heads that away if he’s not pushed under the ball.

2 goals for Elliot today against a good st Agnes side in his second game back after a season out with injury. It wasn’t quite enough to secure the 3 pts but another thing to tick off the list. Still working at it 💪

Harry Kane is a shadow of the player he used to be. His movement is non existent. I was his biggest supporter and he is still a great passer and finisher but he provides no attacking impetus for the team.

First game in 15 months for this one after an ACL injury. Brilliant win over Newquay in the county cup. He’s worked so hard to get back. 💪⚽️
