All @cryptocom needs to do if they are not interested maintaining their platform is to build a powerful API , maybe lower their fees and let people build on it. @CroviaNFT and @tyrosmarket are a breath of fresh air on this part and so amazing to have. Games will need to implement ingame marketplaces for NFT's and for the we need powerful, lightning-fast and cheap endpoints.

@cryptocom going quiet on NFTs isn’t bad news for Cronos. The painful part: creators who dropped on CDC are sitting with real uncertainty. That’s not nothing. Don’t pretend it is. But demand for Cronos NFTs doesn’t disappear with one marketplace. It moves. I’ve been building @tyrosmarket for months exactly because NFTs need to do more — regardless of who hosts them. Others on @CronosApp have been doing the same. The void is real. Someone fills it. Better the builders who stayed.

Heard the take: “Launchpad will just flood the market with low-quality NFTs.” Fair concern. But here’s how I see it: Until now, launching an NFT collection meant paying for coding the contract and/or an artist. 3-5k easy (often much higher). That filtered out two groups: people without tech, people without funds. Both groups had ideas. Both were ready to commit. Neither could ship. The Launchpad doesn’t lower the bar.
