WOW! We appreciate the work you put into checking EVERYTHING and restoring THE 736NG to flying conditions.
Yesterday I posted me working in a B737NG flight deck doing a B check. Since there was interest in that today I will show you another aircraft here in for a “Heavy” C check. This is what the inside of a B737NG looks like when it is stripped clean for a heavy inspection. The flight deck is stripped clean including the windows, in the passenger compartment everything is removed including all the lavatories , galleys (we call them monuments), seats, floors, windows and even all of the cabin doors are removed for overhaul. Every square inch of the pressurized area of the aircraft is inspected for corrosion, damage or cracks.

Well, that’s a new one.
A passenger discovered a rat moving in the cabin ceiling of a Jet Blue aircraft mid-air recently, and it's a concern. What could go wrong ? A rat inside a plane is considered a major aviation safety and bio-security hazard. Because rodents can chew through critical electrical wiring and control cables, airlines immediately ground, decontaminate, and inspect aircraft the moment a stowaway rodent is spotted. Rats could be carriers of diseases and parasites that pose a severe health risk to passengers and crew in a confined, recycled-air environment. 🎥 brittneynicole291 via instagram.com/reel/DZfs_CGJb… #aviation #safety

That is a normal departure out of SJC airport.
A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 (N8879Q), Flight SWA3698, buzzed the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium at 2,000 feet while en route from San Jose Airport to San Diego Airport during Qatar vs. Switzerland World Cup match, 27 minutes into the game.

I didn’t know we had unmanned rescue vehicles. 🤷‍♂️
Two US aviators went down near the Strait of Hormuz. DoW used an autonomous @Saronic Corsair to find and bring them home - the 1st drone rescue at sea in military history. This is why we build: to keep our troops safe. This was science fiction. American builders made it real 🇺🇸.

Me contemplating some of the things I see at airports. 😳
In a Japanese zoo, famous male gorilla Kiyomasa was filmed sinking into deep thought after a quarrel with his partner.
