Ultimately, we will be able to compare data from kindergarten and elementary schools in countries across Europe and North America.
And my guess is that we will see that masking young children accomplished very little in terms of individual, school-level, or community benefits.

The issue with masks is regardless of how “effective” you think they are, any objective look at community-level data shows they’ve been completely oversold which gives a false sense of security, undermines vaccine uptake and erodes trust in public health

But think about the damage that Walensky, Fauci and Biden did by saying otherwise:
1. They demanded masking universally; this gave people LESS reason to get vaccinated.
2. The message sent was "Vaccines sort of work, sort of don't"...

This is a great point by Justin. Our PH officials adopted the swiss cheese model but instead of using OTC treatment, mABs, other therapeutics, healthy living, etc as the components they chose disproven masking, social distancing and lockdowns. Just absurdity.

This is going to be a huge discussion point. Why did our health overlords out ALL of their eggs in the vaccine basket against a virus as slippery as corona? Why did we choose hospitals as the only point of care!? These decisions did indeed cost thousands of lives.
