- copy a link (cmd-c)
- select a piece of text
- paste the link (cmd-v)
and it will turn the selection into your link 🎉 No more suffering due to inconsistent shortcuts! (notion uses cmd-K, slack uses cmd-shift-u)

I really like how Gitlab phrases the IC/Management split in their career track: beyond a certain level, both IC and Management are thought of as leadership roles. You don't have to have reports to lead.
