I'm not sure powerscaling is important. Objectively there's no real answer ofc but imo if subjectively so many people are vehemently arguing that they don't care about powerscaling then it can't be that important. Not to mention that it's a facet of storytelling that is

completely irrelevent for the large majority of stories that don't physically pit characters against each other in fights. To say it is very relevant or important for some specific genres I could maybe agree with.

Been working as a front of house restaurant supervisor and I was so worried about my performance bc it's my first time doing the job but not even a week in my gm offered me a retroactive raise going back to my start date and expanded benefits compared to my original offer!!

Is it just me or are one way video interviews kind of degrading and dehumanising? I've passed up on a few opportunities bc I felt insulted by being asked to complete a long one way video interview process and I'm not sure if I'm drawing a weird line in the sand.

Like if it's already part way through the process or in a role where being able to self tape is important I get it. But it feels like it's asking a lot of the potential employee without the guarantee that it'll even be seen or privacy guarantees about how the video will be used.

Every rivals character has pre programmed intended interactions that really kill the flow of discovery. Also every rivals character seems to have a few passives that aren’t said anywhere? It just feels less intuitive (2/2)

Here’s my take as to why I don’t like the rivals character moveset designs: In smash the characters have simple moves that happen to interact with each other in fun ways because they’re so unique but simple (like a sandbox game) (Continued 1/2)

Said it on stream, but I'm not going even running Wisely Wars this month. If you want to support my projects and make dope events like this possible: - Share my stuff, esp on YouTube - Sub on Twitch. Have you used your free Prime lately? - Use code WISELY in the R2 shop

Really did not enjoy Port Priority at all. Not sure if I am just not interested in smash anymore or the experience was mediocre. Communication was bad, less setups than some regionals I've been to, cramped space, expensive for what is on offer, little to do outside of

friendlies which were also hard to do bc of the lack of setups, and . Saving grace is that I met some really cool people but the event itself didn't really feel conducive to that, in fact it almost felt like it was trying to hinder socialization with it's structure and schedule.

*and basically no side events(the ones they did have were almost all niche restricted group entry and ladder was cancelled for half of the event and they never actually communicated that it would still indeed be happening day 2)

Just waited forever at a crosswalk in Seattle because they still actually make you press the button otherwise the walk signal never turns on. Archaic.

A little surprised so many people still don't know that blue light glasses do nothing for digital eye strain. On top of that blue light doesn't actually cause retinal damage. The best effect these glasses have is that they can reduce blue light in the evenings before sleep,

** doesn't cause any retinal damage from the amount of blue light emitted from screens, ofc high intensity blue light can still be damaging
54
but that is far less effective than just reducing the amount of blue light that may be aimed toward your eyes in the first place by adjusting screen settings or taking breaks.
