Today, in 1909, the United States and Canada signed the Boundary Waters Treaty, one of our two countries' most important bilateral treaties.
Since then, the International Joint Commission has worked to ensure cooperation on our shared natural resources for the last 115 years!

Northern lights are formed when electrons and protons collide with gasses in Earth’s upper atmosphere. Those collisions produce tiny flashes that fill the sky with colourful light.
