There was a recognition that some people would be too dimwitted to understand that global warming doesn’t mean “always warmer” weather.

what riles me up most when fatality stats get talked about on this platform is people that reply with "if we got paid a better price, this wouldn't happen." If your business can't operate without risking yours and your employees' lives, it shouldn't operate

32, which includes the most deadly single month (May) for 15 years.
Of particular awfulness are the deaths of 3 children under 2.
A farmer is 22x more likely to be killed than the average UK worker.
