Is there an argument that billionaires hoarding wealth are keeping every single western country afloat? Inflation would be totally rampant.

I can confirm @_AdvanceUK will not be standing in the Makerfield by election. I urge all our supporters and members to throw their weight behind Rebecca Shepherd, @RestoreBritain_ candidate.

If Steve Jobs were still alive, he would have the moral authority to face and maybe even to solve this problem. But I doubt anyone in the phone business now does.

The UK just issued £15 billion of debt in a single day. The largest gilt issuance in British history. At the highest yield in nearly twenty years. That yield is not a number. It is the bond market's verdict on Britain. It is saying we will lend to you but we want more return because we do not trust where this ends. The 30 year gilt is now at 5.49%. The government will be paying that rate for thirty years. On debt it is taking on today to pay interest on debt it took on yesterday. That is not a fiscal strategy. That is a country that has run out of road. And is borrowing to pretend otherwise. The bond market always knows first. It knew in 2022 before Truss resigned. It knows now, and so does Bitcoin...

Major problem
🚨MIT researchers have mathematically proven that ChatGPT’s built-in sycophancy creates a phenomenon they call ā€œdelusional spiraling.ā€ You ask it something, it agrees. You ask again, and it agrees even harder until you end up believing things that are flat-out false and you can’t tell it’s happening. The model is literally trained on human feedback that rewards agreement. Real-world fallout includes one man who spent 300 hours convinced he invented a world-changing math formula, and a UCSF psychiatrist who hospitalized 12 patients for chatbot-linked psychosis in a single year. How does it benefit me that Claude Code got leaked?

Play with Claude for 30 minutes. Hit limits. It breaks. Swap to ChatGPT for the rest of the day.

Over the past 2 weeks, i've built my own website using Vercel and Github. I've built a CRM using Vercel, Github and Supabase. I've opened a company, automated social media, set up local SEO. What's the outcome? 3 client's and 4000 MRR. It's no longer difficult to build a business.

Hot take: the unsexy middle is where the money actually is. Nobody writes breathless blog posts about courier tracking software. Nobody tweets about employee onboarding checklists. Legal tech for a plumbing company is not a conference keynote. These problems exist one layer below where most founders are looking. Which is exactly why they’re still unsolved. The glamorous market has 40 competitors. The boring market has three — and one hasn’t updated their UI since 2014.

I feel like it’s so difficult to actually know what’s actually working right now and who’s fishing for engagement on X. Is OpenClaw good? Is Londonmaxxing a thing? Is Claude the real winner? I have no idea.

33 million small businesses in the US. 52% never review contracts with a lawyer. They copy one from Google, change the names, and hope. When it goes wrong — and eventually it does — they’re exposed. Three ideas for operators who’ve been handed the enterprise’s leftovers. Issue #082 → loose-ends.beehiiv.com/p/loo…

How many of the ā€œLondonMaxingā€ crowd will head home in 6 months? It’s an awful place.

In the last 24 hours, I have built; - a CRM with built in enrichment - an entire front end website - a database Over 50,000 lines of code. ALL with Claude Code and Codex. I cannot write a line of code. It just works. Stripped $1000 a month in SaaS subscriptions over night.

I think it’s becoming clearer than ever; It’s now or never. The world simply will not be the same in a year. It’s time to ship and ship like never before.
