Our new paper out on DRG-S for chronic mechanical shoulder pain s/p reverse shoulder arthroplasty revision. ROM at 0-5 degrees in all planes to almost 90 degrees with DRG-S! And a video on our YouTube page to see/hear his results journals.lww.com/aacr/abstra…

Thanks Dr Bennett! It was a pleasure working with you and the rest of the Phoenix Children’s Ortho Dept this past month! I loved learning about the wide variety of ortho pathologies over the month! Such a fun rotation and can’t wait to get back to peds during residency! 🦴🔨🙌

What this means is that this could potentially be a new treatment option for patients who cannot undergo joint replacement (poor surgery candidates) or have failed prior replacements! We no longer have to say we cannot do anything further, this is the next treatment option!!

I am super excited to *hopefully* be starting a career in ortho surgery with this modality in my back pocket! Getting to know these patients and watch their progression from pre-DRGS was really incredible and gives me hope we can bring this to many more in the future!

Just a little more than a year after I implanted his stimulator my previously paralyzed patient took his first steps. Paralysis from spinal cord injury is no longer permanent. @VAMinneapolis @AbbottNews #sci #hope #progress
