You can put football behind an astronomical paywall because there's so many fans that a lot of people plus bars will pay for it. But put niche sports behind an astronomical paywall and you don't grow but *kill* a sport. Capitalism at its worst right here
Eurosport is closing down in the UK - cycling is about to get a lot more expensive to watch cyclingweekly.com/news/euros…

This will ultimately be damaging to cycling as well as other more niche sports that were shown on Eurosport.
A 31 GBP monthly subscription to watch cycling. Fuck off. 😂 cyclingweekly.com/news/euros…

I’ve just noticed that there is a new @nationalrailenq app. How can something that is ‘updated’ be less user friendly? 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve also - somewhat conveniently - found a frog in my garden! It’s as if he knows what’s about to go down 🐸

Even now, at the end of summer, #Dandelions are providing vital pollen and nectar for a myriad of insects. NEVER underestimate the power that this mighty little plant has to attract #wildlife 🐝

This is definitely one of my favourite autochrome enhancements from the First World War. The composition is like a classical painting, the light & colour are just sublime, and the clarity strips away the last 110 years to make it resemble a modern-day re-enactment. This wonderful ragtag team of French territorial infantrymen was taken by Jean-Baptiste Tournassoud in Oise, northern France, in 1914. They wear a hotch-potch combination of old and new uniform styles, of horizon blue with bright red pantaloons. I love this one to bits. 😍 It is original colour (not colourised)
